Vacant position at Golden Key South Africa office

The Golden Key International Honour Society South African Office is now accepting applications for a half-day position at their offices in Pretoria.

 

This position includes bookkeeping, membership processing and general administrative duties.  The incumbent will report directly to the director, South Africa, the Financial Officer in Atlanta and work closely with the member services manager.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in finance required.

Experience in NetSuite is highly desirable.

Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication and organisational skills in at least two official languages are required.

Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Express and PowerPoint as a minimum. Experience with CRM desirable.

Valid driver's license and own car is essential.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the timeous processing of memberships.

Ensure the accurate processing of monthly bookkeeping and generating reports as requested by both the SA and International offices.

Creating payments in ABSA for release.

VAT reporting.

Liaising with members in terms of processing enquiries.

Liaising with the CEO, Financial Officer and South African director in terms of financial enquiries.

 

 WORKING HOURS

This is a four hour a day, five days a week position at the Golden Key South African Offices in Menlyn Maine, Pretoria.

 

RENUMERATION AND BENEFITS

Probation -The first three months will be a probation period after which a permanent position might be offered.

Benefits and Compensation - basic salary plus medical aid contribution, once permanently employed.

Retirement fund contribution after 12 months of employment.
